BIO packaging

Biobased biodegradable plastics are advanced materials that fulfil all necessary performance criteria during their lifecycle, while being capable of breaking down into eco-friendly components when exposed to natural environmental factors after use. This degradation is achieved through the action of microorganisms present in the environment, including bacteria, fungi and algae, which convert the plastics into carbon dioxide, water, methane and biomass, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
